
The WSI Lifecycle – A Structured Approach to Internet Success

The Six Phases of the WSI Lifecycle
1. Discovery
The process begins with discovery of your organization’s current status and how it is reflected in your Internet presence. We listen to your thoughts about what’s working and what’s not working, and your vision of where you want to take your business. This open-ended phase of our process helps uncover the deeper questions we should be asking that will help us get to the optimal solution for your business needs.
2. Internet Business Analysis (IBA)
The IBA is a structured analysis of the marketing and business issues that need to be investigated and addressed. In the IBA we work to uncover the specific solutions that can contribute to greater online success within the constraints of your business model, market, budget and resources. Along with recommended solutions we set clear goals and expectations as to how your business can benefit from a digital marketing campaign.
3. Build
The Build phase is where the underlying work for the implementation is done. Depending on the needs of the client, this can be anything from building a new website to creating an advertising campaign, putting together a detailed social media plan or setting up an email marketing campaign. Every situation is different, but they all share the common characteristic that something must be created in a Build phase before it is rolled out.
4. Implement
With the build phase complete, the plan is put into action and the campaign goes live. Again the details depend upon the specifics of the client project, but during implementation we carefully monitor the execution of the plan, testing and adjusting wherever necessary, and keeping you informed at every point along the way about the rollout. The Implement phase culminates in the launch of the solution.
5. Measure
Compared to traditional marketing, one of the great advantages of internet marketing is the ability to monitor results, and to get a picture of who is viewing and responding to your campaign. Your WSI consultant uses advanced web analytics tools to monitor and evaluate the performance of your campaign, and to make recommendations and adjustments for continual improvement. Measurement is a critical component in enabling you to achieve your digital marketing goals.
6. Manage Results
